We pre-screen all candidates over the phone and ask that they register on our website. Upon registration, we thoroughly check all references and conduct a personality assessment.
What types of responsibilities should you expect from your childcare provider?
At Sitter in a Pinch, we recommend that you are upfront regarding your childcare needs. If you are looking for a nanny to do heavy housekeeping, please disclose so immediately. This way, there are no surprises when your nanny starts working for you. We want to help make the best match for you and your family.
Should I screen my nanny after finding them on Sitter in a Pinch?
At Sitter in a Pinch, we pre-screen all potential childcare providers before placing them on the site. We check references, as well as background checks upon request. However, we do recommend that you verify all information that is provided by your applicant.
